Accessible Stewardship + Build Lab

Human need: Shared places need useful maintenance and learning opportunities that do not exclude people by strength, speed, disability, experience, or income.
Small test: One facilitated design-and-work session with several ways to participate, a bounded site task, accessible tools, and a short learning review.
People involved: Residents, site stewards, disabled participants, makers, educators, and the person authorized to approve the work.
What already exists: Cooperative stewardship practice, the Lunisolar Stewardship Cycle, Homeitat tools, and prior ecological-learning field work.
Invitation: A host may request a fit conversation for one real site task.

Proposed

Move With Dignity Ready Route

Human need: A referral is not useful when a person cannot understand it, reach it, prepare for it, or complete the handoff.
Small test: Map one common route to help, identify where it breaks, and test one voluntary, consent-based warm handoff.
People involved: People using the route, peer navigators, service providers, accessibility reviewers, and the organization responsible for the handoff.
What already exists: Local services and referral pathways already exist; the proposed work examines the gaps between them.
Invitation: Reviewers may help identify one route worth mapping and the right decision owner.

Seeking review

HOW Neighborhood Station

Human need: Public space often makes control more visible than welcome, rest, water, communication, practical help, and ordinary belonging.
Small test: Select one or two functions for one authorized setting and short season—without presenting the station as shelter, clinical care, or a complete service system.
People involved: People likely to use it, a willing host, qualified operators, accessibility and safety reviewers, and nearby community members.
What already exists: Respite-architecture concepts, community kiosk precedents, existing providers, and public-space stewardship models.
Invitation: Potential hosts or reviewers may examine one bounded station function.

Listening

Community Navigation Pilot

Human need: Residents and visitors can lose the route between needing help, finding accurate information, and reaching usable support.
Small test: Explore a limited-time, compensated civilian navigation presence at one authorized community setting.
People involved: People seeking information, experienced community navigators, service providers, a host, and qualified safety and evaluation reviewers.
What already exists: Local navigation work and national civilian-stewardship precedents inform the question; no Davis operator, site, partner, or funding is selected.
Invitation: The current request is for corrections, precedent, and conversation—not endorsement or implementation.
